Jackie Im is an independent curator and writer living in Oakland, CA. She has a BA in Art History from Mills College, Oakland, and a MA in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts, San Francisco. She has curated exhibitions at the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art, Pro Arts, and Kearny Street Workshop. Since 2010, she has co-administered MacArthur B Arthur, a gallery in Oakland, where she has been co-curating exhibition with Aaron Harbour. Beginning in November 2011, Im also organizes Movie Night at the OACC, a monthly screening night of underscreened film by Asian and Asian American filmmakers.
